Rites held Sat. for Ida Hamilton

Mrs. Ida Hamilton, 82, died Thursday, May 13, at the Concord Manor Nursing Home. The Rosary was said at the Bohn Funeral Home, Friday, with the Rev. Florian Schmidt in charge.

Funeral services were held at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, May 14, at St. Boniface Catholic Church. Celebrant was the Rev. Robert Palen, pastor of the church.

Interment was made in St. Boniface Cemetery. Pallbearers were Dave Roach, Michael Roach, Maurice Roach, Charles Roach, Quentin Geddes and Leo Schmidt.

Born Feb. 27, 1883, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Mayer of Garner. She was married to Thomas Hamilton on July 10, 1906. They lived most of their married life in the Garner area. Her husband, Tom, and an infant son preceded her in death.

Surviving include one son, Verner, Garner; three grandchildren, Mrs. James (Marvea) Honken of Hutchins; Lauren and Tim Hamilton of Garner. Two sisters, Mrs. Theodore Dawurck and Miss Laura Mayer, one brother, Dr. A. K. Mayer, all of Milwaukee, Wis.; a stepbrother, Henry Brede, and a stepsister, Margaret Brede, both of Goodell, also survive.
