Presley Griggs

Manly - Presley Griggs, 81, of Manly, died Sunday (Nov. 3, 1985) at home.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Hogan-Bremer-Bride Colonial Chapel here, the Rev. Douglas Domokos of Calvary Baptist Church, Forest City, officiating. Burial will be in Amsterdam Cemetery, Goodell.

He was born Nov. 23, 1904 at Goodell to George and Mary (Bachman) Griggs. On Dec. 23, 1923 he married Alma Osheim at Forest City.

Mr. Griggs was in the sales business. He also sent to Kentucky for 25 years as a circuit evangelist. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Forest City.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. today until time of services at the funeral chapel. The family requests memorials be given to Calvary Baptist Church, Forest City.

Survivors include his wife, Alma, and one brother, Audrey of Klemme.
