M. S. Gilman, who was well known to many of our people, died of pneumonia at the state hospital at Cherokee, Tuesday 24th. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Emerson at the U.B. church Thursday last, and the remains were laid to rest in the cemetery east of town by the side of his parents.
