Mrs. Matilda Field, wife of Horace E. Field, died last Thursday and buried Saturday afternoon. She was 36 years old. The funeral was at the Lutheran church. Mrs. Field was a member of the Lutheran church. She has been a invalid and a great sufferer for years. She leaves a husband.

After a long and painful illness, death came to the relief of Mrs. Matilda Field, wife of Mr. H. E. Field of Garner. Her death occurred at the family residence on Thursday night Oct. 15. A short funeral service was held at the residence and a funeral sermon and services held at the German Lutheran church on Saturday afternoon. Rev. E. F. J. Richter officiating. The remains were laid away in the Concord Cemetery.
