Few of our people knew of the sickness of Mrs. William H. Enabit and the surprise and shock to the people was therefore very great when they learned that she had passed away Sunday morning about 8 o'clock, February 13th, the cause of death being peritonitis.

Mr. and Mrs. Enabit and their daughter, Olive, became residents of our town less than a year ago, and during that time made many and very warm friendships among the people of the town and vicinity. The family resided also at Meservey and Belmond where they were also highly esteemed. The sympathy of many friends goes out to the sorely stricken husband and only daughter in their affliction.

Luelia Wesenberg was born near Dows, Iowa, March 2, 1879, being a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William M. Wesenberg, both the parents and four other children surviving this daughter.

November 26, 1899 she was united in marriage to William H. Enabit who with the daughter, aged 13 years, survive the deceased. Services will be held in the Lutheran church in Kanawha this Thursday morning at 10 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Blair of this place and Rev. Burress from Belmond. Services will be conducted at 1:00 o'clock in Goodell at the United Brethren church, with which church the subject of this sketch joined some years ago. Interment in the Goodell cemetery.

During the services in Kanawha Thursday morning, the business places will be closed.
