Diane L. (Pletcher) Eisenman
August 7, 1947 - July 19, 2012

Diane Eisenman, 64, of Britt passed away Thursday, July 19, 2012 at Hancock County Health Systems in Britt, Iowa.

Funeral services for Diane Eisenman will be held on Monday, July 23, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. at the United Methodist Church in Britt with Pastor Robert Dodge and Pastor Joel DeBoer officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Britt.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 22, 2012 from 2:00 until 4:00 P.M. at Ewing Funeral Chapel, 178 Center Street West in Britt and continue one hour prior to services at the church.

Diane (Pletcher) Eisenman was born to Don and Vivian (Riekena) Pletcher in Forest City, IA. She was confirmed in the United Methodist Church in Britt and graduated from Britt High School in 1966. After graduation she lived in Mason City, IA; Spokane, WA; Okinawa, Japan; Rapid City, SD; and back full circle to Britt.

Since 1982, Diane has been self-employed, cleaning homes mostly for senior citizens, many of whom have become dear friends.

Diane enjoyed gardening, reading, flea markets, and most of all – her boys. She’s a member of the United Methodist Church in Britt and spent some time on Britt’s Planning and Zoning committee.

She is survived by her son, Scott (Bonnie) Gilbert of Mankato, MN and son, Eric Eisenman of Lino Lakes, MN. Also surviving is her granddaughter Stacy Wachtel with son Christian and daughter Olivia of Mankato, MN, mother, Vivian Pletcher of Britt, siblings: Linda Hildman, John Pletcher (Darlene Weber), Connie Pletcher, Bonnie (Bill) Vavrik, all of Britt and her brother Ron (Lilia) Pletcher of San Jose, CA.

Also surviving are nieces and nephews, Kristie (Rod) Crowder and family of Britt, Todd (Erika) Hildman and family of Algona, Michelle Hildman and family of Britt, and Daniel, Nicholas, and Karina Pletcher of San Jose, CA,

She was preceded in death by her dad, Don Pletcher; paternal grandparents Lloyd and Flossie Pletcher; maternal grandparents, Henry and Amanda Riekena; former husband, Larry Eisenman; and many, many dear friends.
