1948-1992Services for Robert J. Korleski, 44, Klemme, who died Friday, Sep. 4, 1992 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Mason City, were held Tuesday, Sep. 8, 1:30 p.m. at Immanuel Reformed United Church of Christ in Klemme with Rev. Don Walters officiating.
Music was provided by organist, Diane Stadtlander, and Lance Arnold, vocalist.
Casket bearers were Ed Lents, Earl Beshey, Al Trca, Dean Carolus, Mark Bachman and Marvin Bachman.
Military rites were held graveside and burial was at Ell Township Cemetery in Klemme with Tenold Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Robert Joseph Korleski, the son of William and Patricia(O'Leary) Korleski, was born March 31, 1948 at Emmetsburg. In 1959 the family moved to Lake City where he graduated from high school in 1966. Bob drove a milk route and worked in the family locker until entering the service in 1968. After the service he worked for Bill at the locker until purchasing his own locker in Thompson. He then worked construction with his uncle and later had his own business.
October 20, 1979, he married Beverly Trampel and in 1989 he purchased a plumbing, heating and electrical business in Klemme where he had been self-employed and enjoyed his business.
In the spring of 1990, Bob and his family moved to an acreage where he devoted a lot of time working with his children and their 4-H projects. He loved taking the children to horse sales and enjoyed driving and riding horses with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly of Klemme; a daughter, Tammy of Mankato, MN; sons Dustin and Jason at home; his mother, Pat Korleski of Lake City; sisters, Jane Graham of Garner, Patt Ridder of Klemme, Nancy Meusburger of Sac City, and Barb Blair of Lake City; brothers, Bill Korleski of Clear Lake, Jim and Don Korleski of Klemme, and Frank Korleski of Greenville, SC.
He was precede in death by his father.
