Fred J. Arnold's services Jan. 2nd

Fred J. Arnold, 71, Klemme, died at his home on Monday, Dec. 30th; he was a retired implement dealer.

Funeral services were held at 9:30 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 2nd, from the Immanuel Reformed United Church of Christ of Klemme, with the Rev. Marvin Lehmann officiating.

Masonic rites were conducted at the Bohn Funeral Home, Garner, on New Year's evening, Jan. 1st. The Rev. Lehmann used as his text Judges 12:6, and 1 Cor. 1:18, and special music was supplied for the services. The organist was Mrs. Marvin P. Lehmann.

Pallbearers were:; Donald Christians, Lloyd Lau, Wayne Whitney, Donald Lemke, Martin Barz, and Roger Embertson.

He was laid to rest in the Concord cemetery adjacent to Garner. At the time of his death he had reached the age of 71 years, four months, and 27 days.

He was born August 3, 1903, at Klemme, the son of Fred A. and Clarice (Gibbs) Arnold. He lived his entire life in the Klemme area. He was a member of the Immanuel Reformed United Church of Christ in Klemme, the Bethal Lodge #319, Garner, Knights Templer, Mason City, and the Eastern Star #391, Garner.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret, one son, Fred Robert Arnold, a daughter-in-law, Barbara, and one granddaughter of Caledonia, Minnesota.
