Mrs. Zeigler Dies; Funeral to Be Saturday

Corwith - Funeral services for Mrs. Ben F. Zeigler, 85, will be conducted at 2:30 Saturday at the Corwith Methodist Church, preceded by a prayer at the Zeigler home southeast of Corwith. The Rev. Arthur E. Rasmussen will be in charge. The Boughton Funeral Home is in charge.

Emma Luella Deibler Zeigler, daughter of James and Eva Meyer Deibler, was born May 18, 1872, at Forreston,, Ill. She came to the Kanawha vicinity with her parents. On Oct. 6, 1892, she was married to Ben F. Zeigler at Algona. The farmed in the Corwith and Kanawha communities until retirement.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Rufus (Alice) Schott, Garner; four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Shannon (Maggie) Dunfee, Lyle, Minn., and Miss Hettie Deibler, Grandville, N. D.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1937; a son, Vernon in February; four sisters, Mrs. Sam (Katherine) Shipman, Mrs. Charles (Jennie) Shipman, Mrs. Walter (Etta) Evans, and Mrs. Charles (Anna) Dawson, and three brothers, John, Frank and William.

Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Britt.
