Vernon Widen Funeral Rites Will Be Held at Corwith Church Monday

CORWITH, Oct. 24 - Vernon, 17, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest J. Widen, living 2 1/2 mile west of town, died Thursday evening at a Fort Dodge hospital. He underwent an operation several weeks ago from which he never recovered. Funeral services will be held Monday morning at St. Mary's Catholic church with the Rev. J. P. Quirin of Britt, in charge. Burial will be in the Corwith cemetery. Surviving are his parents, five brothers and three sisters.
