Olof Weith Dies Suddenly in Yard

CRYSTAL LAKE - Olof Weith [Wieth] died suddenly Sunday evening at 8:30 in the yard of his home shortly after pitching a game of horseshoe with relatives. His health had been poor for the past three years but he had been able to be about.

Mr. Weith, who was 53 years old, was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Weith of Sheldon, Denmark.

He is survived by his wife and three daughters, Violet, Vivian and Carman, all at home, and a grandson, Jerry Weith, who lives with them. Plans are being made to hold the funeral Wednesday afternoon.
