Retired Farmer Dies; Funeral on Wednesday

BELMOND - Funeral services for Adolph Schlichting, 77, a retired farmer, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Fundamental Baptist Church in Belmond. The Rev H. A. McKinney will officiate and the Johnston Funeral Home is in charge.

He died at his farm home four miles southeast of Klemme Sunday afternoon. He had been in failing health for several months.

Mr. Schlichting is survived by three sons, George of Meservey; Walter, Clear Lake, and Glenn, Klemme, and two brothers. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1939 and two infant children.

Burial will be in the Amsterdam Cemetery, Goodell.
