Funeral Services for Garner Woman Planned

GARNER, Jan. 12 - Funeral services were planned for 2 o'clock Saturday in the Shannon funeral home for Mrs. George Schaffer, 73, who had lived alone since the death of her husband about eight years ago and who was found dead on the floor in her home Thursday by the coroner and sheriff.

Mrs. Schaffer had apparently been dead a day and a night.

Herman Beenken, a brother, lives between Clear Lake and Mason City, but is ill.

Mrs. Beenken and their daughter have taken charge with the Rev. Calvin Schmid, pastor of the German Reform church officiating with interment in Concord cemetery beside her husband's body.
