Hans B. Madsen Rites Saturday

BRITT - Funeral services for Hans B. Madsen will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Boughton Funeral Home. The Rev. Stewart Abel, pastor of the Church of the Nazarene, will conduct the service. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Britt.

Mr. Madsen died Thursday morning at a Mason City hospital. He had been in failing health four years. He was born June 28, 1883, at Stilson, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Hans P. Madsen. He was married to Ann Lyons.

He had been employed many years in the state game department and also in the post office department at Mason City. He worked for a time for the Square Deal Hail Insurance Co., Fort Dodge.

Mr. Madsen is survived by two sons, Donald, Detriot, Mich.; Ronald, Los Angeles; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Stutterstrom, West Virginia; and a brother, Carl J., Indianapolis, Ind.

He was preceded in death by his wife and a brother, Sern.
