Mrs. Reuben Peterson

BRITT: Mrs. Reuben Peterson, 71, died of cancer at her home Thursday night. Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the First Lutheran Church, preceded by a prayer service at the Boughton Funeral Home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Rose Evelyn Gifford was born near Kanawha and was married to Reuben Peterson Sept. 8, 1913. They farmed near Kanawha until 1929 when they moved to Britt. He is an electrician.

Surviving are her husband, four sons, Lewis, Fruitland; Clair, Britt; Calvin, Kansas City; Lyle, Mankato, Minn.; three daughters, Mrs. Allen (Edna) Eden, Titonka; Mrs. John (Verda) Stratton, Britt; Mrs. Emery (RuBee) Schroeder, Britt; nine grandchildren, a great grandchild, and three sisters.
