Scott Pollock services in Garner Thursday

GARNER: Scott T. Pollock, 74, died Monday at the Lutheran Hospital, Fort Dodge, following a long illness. Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the United Presbyterian Church. The Rev. H. Allen Wirtz will officiate. Burial will be in Concord Township Cemetery with Bohn Funeral Home in charge.

The son of Steven and Nancy Pollock, he was born in Guernsey County, Ohio, Aug. 11, 1886. He came here in 1898 and was an interior decorator many years. He was active in choir work and Sunday school at the United Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are his wife, a son, Clark Garner; a daughter, Mrs. Joe (Bethel) Buell, Webster City, and several grandchildren.
