Harold Stone

MARSHALLTOWN - Harold Stone, 60, of 208 Pine St., died Monday (Dec. 28, 1992) at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. today at the Estel Perrin Avey Chapel, 212 E. State St., with the Rev. Harry Lake officiating, and at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the First Lutheran Church in Britt, Iowa, with Pastor James Mattson officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery in Britt on Saturday.

Visitation will be at the funeral home in Marshalltown, and after 11 a.m. Saturday at the church in Britt.

Harold Stone was born Oct. 10, 1932, in Porter, Minn., the son of Clarence and Della Ellison Stone. He received his education in the Britt area.

He was employed at Martin Marrietta in Ferguson for 28 years.

Survivors include one son, Bryan Stone of Charles City; one sister, Cynthia (Mrs. Eric) Schlundt Bodien of Las Vegas; one grandson, Eric of Las Vegas; three grandchildren, Allison, Aaron James (A.J.) and Adam of Manly; a granddaughter, Breanna of Charles City; one sister, Dena (Mrs. Raymond) Bachman of Waterloo; one brother, Clyde Stone of Wichita, Kan.; and one sister, Carol Ann (Mrs. Roger) Nichols of Schuster, Texas.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Evelyn Helgeson; one brother, Butch Stone; and his parents.
