Hannah Stromberg

BRITT - Hannah Stromberg, 92, a former Britt resident, died Saturday morning (Feb. 5, 1983) at a Webster City nursing home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Carter Ewing Funeral Home, Britt, with the Rev. Jim Ramsak, assistant pastor of the Evangelical Free Church in Britt, officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Britt.

Visitation is after 2 p.m. today at Carter Ewing Funeral Home, Britt.

Mrs. Stromberg was born Dec. 3, 1890 on a farm near Britt and was educated in the community schools. She went to Chicago, where she met and married Harry Stromberg. They lived there until he retired.

They returned to Britt in 1962. Mr., Stromberg died in 1970. Since 1979, Mrs. Stromberg has lived at Crestview Manor in Webster City.

She is survived by a brother, Leo Johnson of Webster City.
