Emmo Smidt

BRITT - Emmo Smidt, 83, Britt, died Sunday (March 15, 1981) at home.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Kanawha Christian Reformed Church with the Rev. Ben DenHerder officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Britt.

Visitation will be tonight until noon Wednesday at Carter Funeral Home, Kanawha, and at the church prior to services.

Mr. Smidt lived on the same farm near Britt since the age of 11.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Sena Sweers, and Annie Smidt, both of Britt; and five brothers, Anton Smidt, Kanawha, and Henry Smidt, Louie Smidt, George Smidt, and Ben Heerkes, all of Britt.
