Donald W. Missal

FOREST CITY - Local insurance agent Donald W. Missal, 59, of Forest City, died Tuesday (May 13, 1980) of an apparent heart attack at his office.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Forest City. The Rev. Ole Winter and the Rev. Steve Dornbusch will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Britt.

Visitation will be tonight at Petersen Funeral Home, Forest City, and prior to services at the church.

Mr. Missal came to Forest City in 1967 to join Eugene Morris in the Morris Missal Insurance Agency. In 1979, Mr. Missal and his son formed the Missal Insurance and Realty Co. A member of Forest City Lions Club, he served as district governor of District 9X2, Lions International, in 1977-78.

Survivors include his wife, Verla; two daughters, Mrs. James (Vicky) Anderson, Albert Lea, Minn., and Mrs. Gerald (Rebecca) Fisher, Dayton, Ohio; a son, Tim, of Forest City; a sister, Mrs. Dean (Dorothy) Kloock, Brooklyn, Iowa; and three grandchildren.
