W. Kloock, 67, Dies at Garner
Prominent Resident Succumbs to Stroke
Garner - Funeral services for William Kloock, 67, will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran church at 2 p.m. Saturday, the Rev. G. P. Kupke in charge. Burial will be in the Concord township cemetery. Mr. Kloock died suddenly at his home Wednesday morning from a heart attack.
William Kloock was born Aug. 5, 1880, in Germany, son of Carl and Louise Kloock. He came to America with his parents in 1892 and settled in Garner.
He lived continuously in the Garner vicinity except for 3 years during which time he farmed near Venita, Okla. He was associated with the late Frank Lenz in the concrete contracting business and worked for a time at the Farmers Co-op Creamery here. In recent years he had lived in semi-retirement as his health began to fail.
Other surviving relatives are a sister, Mrs. A. E. Cook of Des Moines; John Kloock, Farwell, Minn,; and O. J. Kloock of Garner.
Mr. Kloock was a lifelong member of the Lutheran church.
