Funeral Services Held For Swan, 57
Britt Man Victim of Heart Diseases; Was mail Carrier

Britt - Funeral services for Walter O. Swan, 57, who died Saturday were held Monday at 1:30 o'clock at the home at 2 o'clock at the Congregational church with the Rev. A. R. Larson in charge and assisted by the Rev. C. B. Mitchell of Woden. Burial was in Crystal Lake cemetery.

Mr. Swan had been in ill health for several years. His death was caused from heart disease and dropsy.

He had been a rural mail carrier out of Britt for the past 21 years.

Mr. Swan is survived by his widow and five children, Ellis Swan of Spirit Lake, Maurice and Gordon Swan, Britt, Kenneth Swan, Titonka, and Evelyn Swan of Britt. Also surviving are two brothers, Warren Swan of Britt and Guy Swan of Riceville, and a sister in Arkansas.
