Funeral Service for Pioneer Resident of Crystal Lake Is Held

Crystal Lake, March 28 - Services for Mrs. Peter Sorenson, 74 years old, who passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. P. L. Juhl, Friday night, were held here Monday.

Mr. and Mrs. Peter Sorenson were pioneer residents of this place, having lived near Crystal Lake for more than 40 years. They retired about 11 years ago from farm life and built a home in town. Mr. Sorenson died about six years ago. Mrs. Sorenson gave up housekeeping last fall and moved out to live with her daughter where she had been ailing ever since.

She leaves three children, Edmund Sorenson, Albert Sorenson, Mrs. P. L. Juhl, all of Crystal Lake; Two brothers, Sam Madson, Crystal Lake, and John Madson, Haynes, N. Dak.; one sister, Mrs. Martin Larson of Crystal Lake.

Interment was in the Crystal Lake cemetery.
