Crystal Lake Girl Dies at Forest City

Crystal Lake - Funeral services for Marilyn Dorothea Siekmeier, 17, daughter of Mr. and Mrs Arthur Siekmeier, were held at the Crystal Lake Methodist Church with the Rev. G. J. Hjelmaas in charge. She died in a Forest City hospital after an illness of a year.

Miss Siekmeier was born Oct. 8, 1938, and was a senior in the Forest City Leland High School. She would have graduated with the class of 1956 if she could have continued her work. She was a member of the Crystal lake Methodist Church and the MYF.

Survivors include her parents, a sister, Diane, at home, and three brothers, David, at home; Allen, a student at Iowa State College, Ames, and Lt. Donald Siekmeier, stationed in California.
