Set Rites for Mrs. Scheffelman

Corwith - Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Methodist Church in Corwith for Mrs. Arthur S. (Sylva G.) Scheffelman. She died suddenly at her home Monday afternoon.

Born in Cedar Rapids on July 14, 1897, Mrs. Scheffelman came to Corwith with her parents in 1919. She was married at Fort Dodge on Feb 3, 1920.

In addition to her husband, survivors include two sons, Arthur of Fort Dodge and Marvin of Corwith; two daughters, Mrs. Joe (Lovice) Cox Jr. of LaHabra, Calif., and Mrs. Phillip (Nannette) Marriam of Louisville, Ky.; two brothers, Ira Stambaugh of Whittier, Calif., and Wilbert Stambaugh of Olympia, Wash., 12 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

The Rev. Frank Considine will officiate at services. Burial will be in Corwith cemetery with Blake Funeral Home, Corwith, in charge of arrangements.
