Mrs. Thompson Dies; Funeral to Be Saturday

Garner - Funeral services for Mrs. Robert Thompson will be conducted Saturday at 1:15 at the Thompson farm home and at 2 p.m. at the Miller Lutheran Church. The Rev. Arnold Edwards will be in charge. Burial will be in the Concord Cemetery here with the Bohn Funeral Home handling the arrangements.

Mrs. Thompson died Tuesday evening at her home north of Garner. She had been ill for a long time.

She was formerly Gladys Christina Halverson, daughter of Mr.and Mrs. Lewis H. Halverson. She was born at Miller on Aug. 4, 1903. She lived on a farm north of Garner since her marriage to Robert Thompson on July 10, 1923.

Surviving are her husband and three sisters, Mrs. Howard Taylor, Garner; Mrs. Harold Bamman, Mason City, and Myrtle Halverson, Garner.
