Garner - Funeral services for Carl O. Solsaa, 88, will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the United Presbyterian Church here. The Rev. H. Allen Wirtz will officiate. Burial will be in Concord Cemetery here with Bohn Funeral Home in charge. He died in a Mason City hospital Thursday.

Born March 15, 1876, at Osage, he was the son of Ole and Inger Solsaa. He was married to Helena Halverson in 1900.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Philip (Ada) Johnson, Garner; Mrs. Earl (Fern) Renn, Glendale, Calif.; a son Bert, Mason City; 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, four sisters and three brothers.
