R. R. Lemke, 64, Dies At Garner
Services Thursday at Methodist Church

Garner - Funeral services for Reinhold R, Lemke, 64, who died at his home in Liberty township Monday, will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Methodist church in Garner, the Rev. E. F. Broberg officiating, assisted by the Rev. H. A. Harvey, Klemme Methodist minister. Burial will be in the Concord township cemetery with the Masonic lodge in charge.

Pallbearers are E. F. Bock, B. L. Prouty and Victor Waldeck, Garner; Clarence Waterman, Sumner Trumbull and James Thomas, Klemme.

He was born May 11, 1878, in Cacen, Germany, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Lemke, and came to America in 1883. He had lived in Liberty township 59 years. In 1904 he was married to Minnie Straatman.

Mr. Lemke was a member of the Liberty township Methodist church and the Garner Masonic lodge, and had served on the school board.

Surviving besides his widow are four children, Walter, Reuben and Mrs. Leonard Swanson, all of Klemme, and Mrs. Carl Bohn, Garner; seven grandchildren, three brothers, Will and Otto, Klemme, and John, Garner, and two sisters, Mrs. Will Beier, Goodell, and Mrs. Eric Clark, Clear Lake. A brother Henry, and a sister, Mrs. James Lilly, preceded him in death.
