Russell W. Wilson

FOREST CITY - Funeral services for Russell W. Wilson, 52, of Forest City, who died Tuesday [14 Mar 1978] in a Minneapolis,Minn., hospital, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Congregational Church in Forest City. The Rev. C.W. Hanko will officiate, and burial will be in Madison Township Cemetery, Forest City. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Forest City American Legion Post.

Friends may call at Olson-Petersen Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements, and at the church prior to services.

Mr. Wilson, a Forest City native served in the U.S. Army during World War II and for many years after that. Upon his discharge for a service connected disability, he returned to Forest City.

He is survived by a daughter, Pamela: a son, Robin, and a sister, Mrs. Vernon (Shirley) Strand, Forest City.
