M. L. Weichselbaums little boy [Johnnie H] about three years old was taken sick with Inflammation of the bowels, last Tuesday and died Saturday [5 Sep 1896] at 5:30 a.m. Funeral service was held Saturday at the German M. E. church at 4:00 p.m. and the remains were laid at rest in the Germantown burying ground. It is hard to lose these pledges of love when they become endeared to us but there is an all-wise God who does all things well. The Democrat joins in extending heartfelt sympathy to these grief stricken parents.
