Forest City man killed

FOREST CITY—Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Forest City, for Jerry James Kasik, 19, who was apparently killed accidentally Friday [8 Nov 1968] afternoon by a gunshot wound suffered when he was cleaning a rifle.

Kasik, the son of Frank and Lorraine Kasik of Forest City, was a student at Waldorf College. Survivors also include his maternal grandfather, S. N. Larson, Northwood, and one brother, Kyle, at home. Burial will be in Madison Cemetery.
