FOREST CITY — Funeral services for Mrs. H. Marie Jones, 75, Forest City, will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Immanuel Lutheran; Church, Forest City, Pastor John Hieronymus officiating.

Mrs. Jones died Tuesday (April 5, 1983) at a Forest City nursing home. Burial will be in Madison Township Cemetery, Forest City.

Visitation is after 10 a.m. Friday at the Petersen Funeral Home, Forest City, and at the church before services.

Mrs. Jones was born at Parkersburg on April, 27, 1907, daughter of the Rev. Carsjen and Marie Voss. She grew up in Parkersburg, Waverly and Sheffield.

She married Archie Jones on May 29, 1927, and the couple operated the A & P Grocery at Forest City. They later lived in various communities in Iowa.

Mrs. Jones returned to Forest City in 1963. She worked at Stitch-craft, Forest City, until she retired in 1967.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Darrell (Mary Lou) Dahlien, Tillamook, Ore.; two sons, Marvin and Lavern Jones, both of Forest City; 16 grandchildren: five great-grand children and two sisters, Mrs. John K. (Luise) Hanson, and Mrs. G.W. (Dorothy) Peterson, both of Forest City.
