LOSE LITTLE DAUGHTER

The home of Mr. and Mrs. J. S. McDonald, north of town, was saddened Tuesday morning of this week by the death of one of their little daughters.

Opal Ruth, little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. S. McDonald, was born in Jewell November 25, 1917 and passed away Tuesday morning April 5, 1921, at the age of 3 years, 4 months and 10 days.

Her death came as a shock to her parents and the community as she had been sick only a few days with measles and her case was not thought alarming.

Besides her parents she leaves three brothers, John, William, and Cleo, and two sisters, Kathryn and Pearl, besides a number of other relatives to mourn her departure.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the home conducted by Rev. McKinley, and interment was made in the Evergreen Cemetery.

The Record joins the host of friends in expressing sympathy to the bereaved family.
