MRS. FISHER PASSES AWAY

Mrs. Susie B. Fisher was born on July 23, 1848, in New York City, New York, and died at her home in Stratford, December 16, 1922 at the age of 74 years, 4 months and 23 days. She was married to Henry Fisher, December 15, 1881.

For a number of years after Mr. and Mrs. Fisher were married, they resided on a farm eight miles north east of Stratford. Later in 1911 they moved to Stanhope, Iowa, where Mr. Fisher passed away in 1913. Shortly after her husbands death, Mrs. Fisher moved to Stratford, where she made her home until claimed by death.

She was a member of the M. E. church having placed her letter with the class at Harmony Center at that time. She always loved her Lord and Master.

An only son, Jessie Levi Fisher of Stratford, remains to mourn the loss of the mother. She also leaves a host of friends who sympathize with the near relatives in the passing of the loved one.

Funeral services were held from Stratford M. E. Church by Rev. G. H. Dick, assisted by Rev. C. Hammer. The remains were laid to rest in Saratoga Cemetery, north of Stanhope.
