OSMUND [sic] ELLINGSON DIED SUNDAY

Osmond Ellingson, 67, died at his home in Webster City Sunday afternoon, after a long illness.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Foster funeral home with Rev. Heimarck of Story City officiating. Burial was made in Graceland cemetery.

Mr. Ellingson was born at Norway, Iowa, April 17, 1865, being the son of Elling and Julia Ellingson. He received his early education at Mt. Vernon academy, Mt. Vernon, and was graduated from the University of Michigan, college of law, in 1892.

He practiced law with Judge J. L. Kamrar of Webster City for a short time, and later went into the wholesale produce business with his brother, E. M. Ellingson, and his brother-in-law, P. M. Mathre.

On Nov. 11, 1903, he was united in marriage with Alma Nathalia Stromgren, of Webster City. To this union three children were born: Osmond Alvin, who died in 1924 at the age of 19 years; Elling J. and Julia D., who are at hme.

Last November when Mr. Ellingson took sick his son, Elling, cam home and has been in charge of the business since then.

Mr. Ellingson is survived by his wife and two children and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. P. N. Okland of Randall; Mrs. Elsie Mathre of Des Moines; Halver Ellingson of Los Angeles; Elias Ellingson of Cedar Rapids; Elling Ellingson of Vinton; Mrs. John Hougen of Story City; Mrs. Olaf Anenson of Roland; Mrs. Andrew Olson of McCallsburg, and Severt Ellingson of Westbrook, Minn.
