Death of Doris Hinds

Doris, the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Hinds, was born at Thompson, Ill., July 2, 1917. She moved with her parents to the Taylor farm north of Stanhope in 1921. In 1928 they moved to the farm in Clear Lake township. It was here that Doris passed to her home on high Sunday afternoon, June 28. Because of her physical infirmity she was unable to get about as other children. She was not able to attend the public schools, but with the aid of her mother studied at home and had reached the eighth grade work. She leaves to mourn her passing her parents, two brothers, Loren and Maurice, her grandparents and many other relatives and a host of friends. Funeral services were held at the Stanhope Christian church, Rev. C. F. Schmidt officiating.
