Obituary

Alice Evalina Nelson was born near Algona Jan. 1, 1887. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith in which faith she remained to the end. She was married to Martin Sandal Sept. 1st, 1915. To this union was born seven children, Everett, Merle, Evelyn, Marjorie, Helen, Charles and the baby who preceded her in death. She passed away at their farm east of Stanhope Oct. 7, 1903, being 43 years, 9 months and 7 days at her death. She leaves her father, mother, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Nelson of Los Angeles, Cal., a brother, Victor of Swea City, and two sisters, Mrs. William Blandford and Mrs. Mervin Willson of Los Angeles.
