Beatrice Casaura Johnson

Miss Beatrice Casaura Johnson was born near Roland, Iowa, March 10th, 1894, and died at her home one mile south of Randall on April 1st, 1921, at the age of 27 years and 21 days. She was confirmed December 21, 1910. Those in her class were Henry Skeie, Austin Espe, Julius Larson, Nels Rognehaug, Elmer Johnson, Gaylord Jacobson, Archie Olson, Leroy Odson, Cyrus Peterson, Obert Hia, Hannah Hanson, Martha Skeie, Laura Larson and Mabel Borwick.

The sickness that finally ended her short life she contracted about seventeen years ago. She has been a patient sufferer and a noble Christian character. She leaves to mourn her departure, besides her parents, five brothers, Elmer, Harris, Carl, Joseph and Jordan and three sisters, Mrs. Arnold Henderson and Clarence Johnson.

Funeral services were held at one-thirty o'clock Monday afternoon from the home, and at two o'clock at Elim's church at Randall, conducted by Rev. G. O. Paulsrud. In behalf of Mr. and Mrs. [Jonas K.] Johnson and children, Rev. Paulsrud thanked the people for their kindness and sympathy during the last illness and death of their daughter. The church was filled with loving friends and relatives who came to pay the last tribute of respect. The floral offerings were beautiful. The body was laid to rest in the Mt. Olive cemetery.
