Death of Mildred Larson

Mildred Harriet Larson daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. T. Larson, died last Friday at the Des Moines hospital, where she had been for nearly two weeks taking treatment for anemia of the spleen. Funeral services were held in the Randall church Tuesday, and the remains were interred in the Randall cemetery. Rev. Paulsrud preached the funeral sermon to a large outpouring of relatives and friends of the deceased.

Mildred Harriet Larson was born Nov. 15, 1899, and died on April 5, 1918. She was the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Larson, both of whom and five brothers survive here. She was born and raised in this community, and was confirmed by Rev. Paulsrud in the faith in which she lived and died. She had a legion of friends, who all grieve at her early departure but look forward to meeting her in the better land.

The deceased had always been in apparently good health, up to the first of this year when she took sick and gradually grew worse until the end.
