Francis DeVere Gregory, 78, of Webster City died of complications of an aneurysm Tuesday at Hamilton Hospital there. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Asbury United Methodist Church, of which he was a member. Burial, with military rites, will be at Graceland Cemetery.

Mr. Gregory lived in Webster City all of his life and was a retired custodian with Lawn Hill School. He was a World War II Army veteran and a member of American Legion and Elks Lodge.

He is survived by his wife, Betty; four daughters, Patricia Palmer of Cedar Rapids, Janet Burgart of New Hampton, DeAnne Raven of St. Paul, Minn., and Cindy Norman of Des Moines; a sister, Beulah Eyanson of Webster City; and seven grandchildren.

Friends may call Saturday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Foster Funeral Home in Webster City is handling arrangements.
