Mrs. Michael Mickelson

After a short illness of two months with heart trouble, kidney trouble and pneumonia, Mrs. Michael Mickelson died at her home southwest of Randall, at 1 o'clock Friday, Dec. 20th. The funeral was held Monday, Dec. 23 at 1:30 at the house and 2 o'clock at Elim church at Randall, conducted by Rev. S. M. Stenby, assisted by Rev. G. O. Paulsrud. She was laid to rest in Mount Olive cemetery north of Randall. The pallbearers were: Richard Anderson, Arthur Anderson, Gaylord Hendrickson, Theodore Hoversten, and Abel and Bert Stensland.

Mrs. Michael Mickelson, whose maiden name was Annie Odson, was born Feb. 16, 1892, northeast of Randall, and died at her home southwest of Randall, Dec. 20, being 27 years, 10 months and 4 days old. She was united in marriage to Michael Mickelson May 5, 1915, and to this union seven children were born, all of whom are living. She leaves also her husband, five sisters and three brothers, besides a host of other relatives. The children are: Mildred, Alma, Herman, Ferne, Marjorie, Arnold and Helmer. The surviving sisters and brothers are Mrs. S. E. Swenson of Randall, Mrs. Fred Munzying of Chicago, Ed Odson of Clark, S. D., Mrs. T. T. Wicks of Story City, Mrs. Austin Wicks of Clark, S. D., Mrs. George Wicks of Elmore, Minn., Cornelius Odson of Vermilion, S. D., and Joseph Odson of Clohme, S. D.

Mrs. Mickelson was very patient in her suffering and put all her trust in God, and it was her prayer at all times that His will be done and that she meet Jesus as her Savior. She was a loving wife and mother.
