Betty Caquelin, 70, of Webster City, died June 22 at Hamilton County Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Community Church (east of Kamrar) with Dr. Craig Bex officiating. Burial will be at French Cemetery (east of Woolstock).

Visitation hours at Foster Funeral Home will begin after 3 p.m. today until 9 a.m. Tuesday.

The former Betty Jean Norman, daughter of Russell and Nora Norman, was born June 1, 1921 in Decatur County. She attended school at Lamoni, where she graduated in 1939.

On Dec. 7, 1941 she married Lowell (Bud) Caquelin. Mrs. Caquelin was employed at Morton Frozen Foods for 11 years and WCI for 19 years. She retired in 1967.

She was predeceased by parents, brother, two sisters and her husband, who died in October 1964.

She is survived by one son, Errol of Des Moines; two daughters, Darlene Dingman and Donna Bristow, both of Webster City; five grandchildren; and four sisters, Pauline Seeman and Marjorie Pettit, both of Cedar Rapids, Beulah McKay of Webster City, and Hildred Germaine of Toddville, Iowa.

She was a member of UAW and the Senior Citizens Club.
