Francis E. Henely, 61, of Duncombe, died Sunday morning at his home. He had been in ill health the past six years.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic church in Duncombe with Father Louis Kollasch officiating and with burial in St. Joseph's Catholic cemetery.

Rosary will be at 8:15 a.m. Tuesday at the Foster Funeral home.

Francis Edmund Henely, son of Frank and Clara Axon Henely, was born July 22, 1911 at Emmetsburg where he was reared and educated.

He was united in marriage March 16, 1940 to Nettie Fisher, and the couple farmed near West Bend. They later moved to Lehigh where they farmed for 20 years. For the past four years, they had resided in Duncombe.

He is survived by his wife; two sons and one daughter, Laurence Henely of Dayton, Daniel Henely of Duncombe and Lorraine Slepski of Rhoda Island; five grandchildren; three brothers and four sisters: Lee Henely of Ayrshire, Mike Henely of Danville, Calif., and Gerald Henely of Sioux City; Mrs. Agnes Renele, Kansas City, Mo., Mrs. Geraldine Youngsworth, Wheat Ridge, Colo., Sister Judith Henely of LaCross, Wis., and Mrs. Wilma Cooper, West Bend, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.

He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic church in Duncombe.
