Funeral services have been scheduled for Robert (Bob) Heide, 54, a former resident of Webster City, who died Monday morning at the Pocahontas Community Hospital.

With Michael Funeral Home of Pomeroy in charge of the arrangements, the services will be held at the First United Church of Christ in Pomeroy at 2 p.m. Thursday. Masonic services will be held at the funeral home at 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Mr. Heide was married to the former Marlys Engstrom, and the couple had three children, all of whom survive him. They are Mrs. Dorothea Oppedal of Story City, Mrs. Ronona Hubbard of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Curtis Heide of Webster City.

In December of 1975, he was married to Dorothy Fliehler and the couple had resided in Pocahontas. She survives him, as do three step-children, Merrie Jo Jensen of Estherville, Duane Walz of Loring Air Force Base in Maine and Paul Walz of Pocahontas.

He is also survived by his father, John G. Heide of Pomeroy, and six grandchildren.

While he lived in Webster City, Mr. Heide was employed at the Butternut Bread Company and with Naden Industries. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Webster City.
