Alice Marie (Sellers) Hauser, 79, Manly, formerly of Williams, died July 7, 1994 at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit, Mason City. Services were held Monday at the Bethel United Methodist Church in Manly. Graveside services were held at Green Mountain Cemetery in Green Mountain. Bride Colonel Chapel in Manly was in charge of arrangements.

Alice Marie Sellers, daughter of Clarence and Althea B. (Fields) Sellers, was born May 13, 1915 in Green Mountain. She graduated from Green Mountain High in 1933 and Normal Training at Iowa State Teachers College in Cedar Falls in 1934. She taught school for one year.

On Oct. 19, 1936 she married Cyril Hauser in Green Mountain. They farmed for a short time in the Marshalltown area, in Williams for 22 years and then for 25 years in the Woolstock area. She moved to Manly in 1988.

She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Rolland and Maureen Hauser of Chico, Calif., and Dennis and Charlene Hauser of Manly; daughters and sons-in-law, Nita and Bill Jacobs of Minnetonka, Minn., and Gayle and Leo Kloewer of York, Neb.; brothers, Raymond Sellers of Nevada and Harold Sellers of Orlando, Fla.; sister, Wilma Buschbom of Plymouth, Minn.; and 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Ruth Eberline; and brothers, Art and Clifford.

She taught Sunday School and was superintendent of Sunday School for many years at the Methodist Church in Williams. Memorials can be sent to the Alice Marie (Sellers) Hauser Memorial Fund.
