Clara Gastren, 100, formerly of Jewell, died Thursday, Oct. 30, 2003 at Bethany Manor in Story City. Funeral services were Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Federated United Church of Christ in Jewell with Rev. Bob Williams officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery in Jewell. Memorial gifts may be given to her church. Becker Funeral Home in Jewell entrusted with arrangements.
