January 11, 2023Deborah K. Clefisch, 68, of Ellsworth passed away January 9, 2023 at Israel Family Hospice House in Ames. There are no services planned at this time.
Deb was born on December 14, 1954 in Waukon, Iowa to Virgil and Marjorie (Irom) Haar. She married Leland Clefisch and they have lived near Ellsworth for the past 26 years. Deb enjoyed reading, feeding birds, watching squirrels, traveling and watching tv. She loved to listen to music, especially music from the 60's and country music. Her family and family activities gave her great joy.
Deb is survived by her husband, Leland of Ellsworth; her children, Cain of Ellsworth, Trinity (Amber) Clefisch of Cedar Rapids and Amber Clefisch of Ellsworth; a granddaughter, Kayanna; and her siblings, Gloria Gardner of Council Bluffs, Kim (Betty) Haar, Denny (Sena) Haar and Tina Haar all of Oelwein.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Soderstrum-Reimers Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
