Patricia A. Hilpipre, 71, of Webster City, died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2005 at the Southfield Wellness Community. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Jones and Rev. Duane Gibson officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Foster Funeral & Cremation Center.

Patricia Ann Wells, daughter of Clarence and Mildred Lamee Wells was born on July 7, 1933 at Britton, S.D. She attended Webster City Community Schools. On January 17, 1950 she married Glen Raymond Hilpipre at Webster City. The couple farmed in the Woolstock area until 1959, when they moved to Webster City. She was employed at Morton Foods for three years and Nissen and Son for 13 years until she retired in 1976 due to poor health. Mr. Hilpipre died on January 11, 1987. She had been residing at Southfield for the last three months.

Survivors are her sons and daughters-in-law, Michael Hilpipre of Lehigh, Danny and Jan Hilpipre of Fort Dodge, Rodney Hilpipre of Altoona, Randy and Debra Hilpipre of Kamrar, Jeff Hilpipre of Webster City, eight grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, sisters and brothers-in-law, Joyce Odegaard of Webster City, Jeanne and Marvin Williams of Mason City, Sandy and Allen Kunz of Blairsburg, brothers and sisters-in-law, Lee (Bud) Wells, Jerry and Carol Wells, Arlen Wells, Terry and Donna Wells all of Webster City and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband Glen, she was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Layton Wells and her sister, Phyllis Baker.

She was very active with a large garden and enjoyed quilting and baking.
