Monday, December 13, 2004Lenore Verdell Kelso, 83, died at her home in Ames, surrounded by her family on Dec. 10. Memorial services were Monday at 10:30 a.m. at First United Methodist Church. She was born in Webster City, lived in Rose Grove Township as a child and graduated from Williams High School in 1939. She taught in area rural schools for several years.
