Viola "Vi" Echelberger, 79, Clearwater, Fla., formerly of Kamrar, died Tuesday, November 2, 2004 in Clearwater. Born in Ellsworth, she moved to Florida in 1999 with her late husband, Bill. She was secretary to the principal at Kamrar Elementary School and enjoyed doing arts and crafts, and keeping in touch with friends.

Survivors include children, Lynda Sue Echelberger of Tamarac, FL., Elva Mae Pierce of Thornton, CO., William Thomas Echelberger and James LeRoy Echelberger, both of Clearwater, FL; 8 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, sisters, Bertie Imaley of Jewell, Ruby Grover of Clarion, Ruth Hitsman of Boone, Inger Schurch of Des Moines, Virginia Krull of Ellsworth, brothers Sylvan Berg of Hampton and Omar Berg of Columbus, OH. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2004 at 10:00 AM at Faith United Methodist Church in Webster City. In lieu of flowers, the family requests gifts to the Gold Leaf Memorial Fund, St. Paul Methodist Church, 1199 Highland Ave., Largo FL 33770.
